Historically, women in the west have usually worn their hair long, although young girls, actresses and a few “advanced” or fashionable women had worn short hair even before World War.
Usually summer is considered as the perfect time for a short haircut, if you’ve been thinking about going short for a while, now is the time! The shorter your hair, the cooler you will feel. It’s a big change though, especially if you are used to having long hair.
When choosing a short, do keep in mind your own hair type and texture and how much time you are willing to spend on styling your hair in the morning. If you don’t want to spend time styling it then make sure you ask the stylist for something easy to style and low maintenance.
